Through education and awareness, we inspire future generations to protect wildlife and safeguard Bolivia’s natural environment.

We believe that educating and inspiring young people is essential to protecting wildlife and the natural environment. That’s why CIWY runs an environmental education program focused on the conservation of Bolivia’s biodiversity. We organize workshops, fairs, and demonstrations in schools and communities to raise awareness about the importance of protecting native species.

During these activities, we engage students through interactive methods such as videos, games, puppets, and discussions. By sharing real stories and images of rescued animals, we highlight the impact of habitat loss and wildlife trafficking, while also showcasing the work we do to improve their lives.

Through our “Artist in Residence” program and the initiative of our volunteers, we have developed creative educational materials including exhibitions, videos, music, and children’s books. Some of these resources are distributed in schools across Bolivia to help educate and inspire future generations.
We have also participated in the Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots & Shoots Program, a global initiative that empowers young people to take action for environmental and humanitarian causes. This collaboration has strengthened our impact on youth education in Bolivia.

In addition, we work with the wider public and key groups involved in conservation, such as veterinary students, border control personnel, military units near our sanctuaries, and infrastructure workers. Through talks, workshops, and exhibitions, we aim to promote greater awareness and responsibility towards wildlife protection.
